How to use this set

Two kinds of message live in here and WhatsApp treats them very differently. Ten minutes on this section saves you a rejected template and a week of waiting.

APPROVAL Anything you send first needs approval If she has not messaged you, or her last message is older than 24 hours, WhatsApp only lets you open the chat with a template Meta has reviewed. The day before reminder, the review request and the rebooking nudge all sit here.
REPLIES Inside 24 hours, write freely Once she messages you, everything you send back for the next 24 hours is an ordinary service reply. No approval to wait for and no Meta charge. Price lists, deposit requests and booking confirmations usually happen here.
COST What each kind costs you Service replies inside the window are free. Utility templates like a reminder are from ₦11 each and marketing templates like a rebooking offer are about ₦30 each, billed by Meta at the Nigeria rate with nothing added by DMly.
VARIABLES Fill the curly braces, keep the rest {name}, {service}, {date}, {time}, {amount} and {link} are placeholders. In DMly they fill themselves from the booking, so you write the message once and it comes out correct for every client. Keep a word or two before the first curly brace.
Stage one

Booking and the deposit

Five messages that carry her from asking a price to a paid slot. She messaged you first, so all of these are free replies inside the 24 hour window.

Price and slots, sent the moment she asks how much (free reply inside the window) Hi {name}, thank you for reaching out 💚 {service} is ₦{amount} and takes about {duration}. We still have space on {date}: {time1}, {time2} and {time3}. Which one should I hold for you?
Deposit request, sent when a slot is held (free reply inside the window) Lovely. {time} on {date} is held for you with {stylist}. A ₦{amount} deposit confirms the slot and comes off your bill on the day: {link} The time stays yours for the next 10 minutes.
Booking confirmed, sent as soon as the deposit lands (free reply, or an approved utility template if she paid hours later) Received, thank you {name} ✅ You are booked for {service} on {date} at {time} with {stylist}. Balance on the day is ₦{amount}. We are at {address}. Come with your hair dry and we will do the rest.
Slot released, sent when the deposit does not come (free reply inside the window) {name}, I have had to release {time} on {date} because the deposit did not come through. It is no problem, the slot may still be open. Send the deposit here and I will put you straight back in: {link}
Reschedule confirmed, sent when she moves the time (free reply inside the window) Done, {name}. Your {service} has moved to {date} at {time} with {stylist}, and your ₦{amount} deposit has moved with it. See you then.

Three of these, in one real conversation

A client messages at night, holds a Saturday slot, pays a deposit and gets a reminder the next evening. Nobody in the shop typed a word.

Good evening. How much for a full retouch? Good evening 💚 Full retouch is ₦32,000 and takes about 3 hours. Saturday 24th is open at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Which should I hold? 10am please Holding 10:00 am with Tola. A ₦10,000 deposit confirms it and comes off your bill on the day: paystack.com/dmly/zuri The slot stays yours for 10 minutes. Just paid Received ✅ Booked for Saturday 24th at 10:00 am with Tola. Balance on the day is ₦22,000. We are at 14 Admiralty Way, parking is behind the building. Good evening Chidinma, a reminder of your full retouch tomorrow at 10:00 am with Tola. Reply 1 to confirm, 2 to move the time.
Three templates, one thread The price reply, the deposit request and the day before reminder are all from this set. Only the times, the stylist and the amounts changed.
The first ones cost nothing She messaged first, so everything sent back inside 24 hours is a free service reply. Only the reminder the next evening is a paid utility template.
The booking does the sending The deposit link, the confirmation and the reminder all hang off the appointment, so they go out on time even when the shop is full.
Stage two and three

The visit, and getting her back

By the time these go out the chat has gone quiet, so each one has to be submitted and approved before it can send. Set the trigger once and they run on their own.

Day before reminder, sent the evening before the appointment (approved utility template) Good evening {name}, a reminder of your {service} tomorrow at {time} with {stylist}. We are at {address}. Reply 1 to confirm, 2 to move the time.
Running late, sent the moment you know the chair will not be free (free reply if she messaged today, approved utility template if not) {name}, I am sorry, {stylist} is running about {minutes} minutes behind this morning. Your {time} will now start around {new_time}. If that does not work for you, say the word and I will move you to {alt_time} at no cost.
Aftercare note, sent the evening of the appointment (approved utility template) Thank you for coming in today, {name} 💚 To keep your {service} looking fresh, sleep in a silk scarf and keep heat off the roots for the first week. If anything does not sit right in the next three days, message me here and we will fix it free of charge.
Review request, sent an hour after she leaves (approved template) {name}, it was lovely having you today. If you are happy with your {service}, would you drop us a line on Google? It takes 30 seconds and it is how new clients find us: {link}
Six week rebooking nudge, sent on week five (approved marketing template) Hi {name}, it is {weeks} weeks since your last {service} with us. {stylist} has {date} open at {time1} and {time2}. Reply with a time and I will hold it for you.
Putting them to work

Where these run in DMly

BOOKINGS Most of them fire off the calendar The deposit request, the confirmation, the day before reminder and the review request all hang off the appointment itself, so the right message goes at the right hour without anybody setting an alarm. SALONS The rest of the salon playbook Comment to DM, a calendar per stylist, deposits that hold the chair and the six week cycle, written for a shop with Saturdays to fill.
SETUP We will load them with you On the seven day free trial our Abuja team gets on a call, submits your templates for review and wires each one to its trigger. Setup help and Meta business verification help cost nothing.
Questions

Using the set in your own shop

Can I change the wording? Please do. Keep the variables and the shape, then write the rest the way your shop actually talks, pidgin included. Templates are reviewed on the final text, so submit the version you will really send.
What if a template is rejected? Edit it and submit again. The two causes we see most often are a promotional line sitting inside a utility template, and a message that opens with a variable, so put a word or two before the first curly brace.
Do these need opt-in? Anything marketing does, and that includes the rebooking nudge. A client who messaged your number or ticked the box when booking counts, and DMly records when and where each opt-in happened. Anyone who replies STOP comes off the list.
How do I send them automatically? Paste each one into DMly and give it a trigger: deposit paid, the evening before the appointment, an hour after she leaves, week five after her last visit. The variables map to your booking fields once and stay mapped.
Can I send them in pidgin or Yoruba? Yes. Write the message the way you speak to your clients and submit each language as its own template. Plenty of Lagos salons run English with a pidgin version of the reminder.

Let these send themselves

Paste the set into DMly, give each message its trigger, and your shop sends the right message at the right hour while your stylists stay on hair.
