How it works

A campaign tool, not a blast tool

Broadcasts on the official API are permitted, tracked and answered. That is the difference between marketing and spam.

Segments Message the right people only Filter by service, branch, city, tag or last visit. Your Nyali offer does not need to reach customers in Eldoret.
Templates Approved by Meta Every broadcast is a template Meta has approved. We help you write and submit them.
Buttons Replies in one tap Add quick reply buttons such as Book now or Send me the menu, or a link button to a payment page.
Reports See what came back Sent, delivered, opened, replies and failures for every broadcast, so you know what worked.
Replies Every answer lands in the inbox A broadcast starts conversations. The replies arrive in your team inbox, ready to be picked up.
Opt-outs STOP is handled for you Anyone who replies STOP is removed from future broadcasts, on every channel.
The law

Opt-in under the Kenya Data Protection Act

The Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 is enforced by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC). Marketing needs consent first.

Get consent before you market Before you send promotions, the customer should have agreed to hear from you on WhatsApp. A tick box on your booking page, a reply to a question at the counter or a keyword they send you can all record that consent.
Keep a record of it DMly keeps the opt-in status on each contact, so you can see who agreed to marketing and who did not.
Honour STOP every time When a customer says STOP, they come off your marketing list. DMly handles this automatically on every channel.
Do not upload a bought list Numbers collected from a WhatsApp group, a directory or a list someone sold you did not opt in to your business. Marketing to them goes against the consent the Act expects, and it hurts your WhatsApp quality rating.
