Work with us.
We build software that thousands of small businesses open first thing in the morning and last thing at night. It is a small team, so every role here has a visible effect on that.
There are no open roles today, and we would rather say so plainly than keep a list of jobs that do not exist. When something opens it will be posted on this page first. If one of the areas below is your field, send us an introduction anyway: we keep them on file and read them before we advertise anywhere.
Introduce yourselfThe roles we usually hire for.
Almost every role we have opened has fallen into one of these four areas.
Marketing
Owning how a salon owner in Lagos or Manchester first hears about DMly, and whether what they read sounds like it was written by someone who understands their day. Content, search, lifecycle email, paid acquisition and the comparison pages that do a lot of quiet work for us.

The platform behind the inbox: messaging infrastructure across eight channels, the automation engine, the booking and payments layer, our public API, and the mobile app. Plenty of the work is integration work against other people’s APIs, which is unglamorous and matters enormously.

Product design for people who are not sitting at a desk. Our users are cutting hair, running a class or serving a table when they open the app, so the bar is whether something can be done one-handed in ten seconds. Also brand, marketing site and the visual side of the product.

The people who get a business from signed up to genuinely using it: onboarding calls, WhatsApp Business API approvals, untangling a flow that is not firing, and writing the help centre article so the next person never has to ask. Closest role to the customer, and the one that teaches us the most.

We are a small team, so the same four things come up whichever role we are filling.
No role open, but the door is not locked.
Send us a short note saying which of the four areas you work in, one thing you built or ran that you are proud of, and a link to see it. That is enough. No cover letter, and please do not write us a five-page proposal for our roadmap.
We read everything that arrives and keep it on file, but with no role open we cannot promise a reply to each one. When something does open, this page and that inbox are the first places we look. Recruitment agencies: please do not contact us about candidates.
Want to understand what we are building first?
The best way to know whether you would enjoy working on DMly is to use it.
