Delete your DMly account and data
This page explains how to request deletion of your DMly account and the data associated with it. DMly is published by Client Path, LLC.
Last updated: July 27, 2026
If you no longer have access to your account, email hello@dmly.io from the email address registered to the account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify that you own the account and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed from DMly:
- Your profile and login credentials, name, email, password, two-factor settings and active sessions
- Any workspaces you own, together with all data inside them
- Contacts and conversation history across every connected channel
- Bots, flows, broadcasts, sequences and templates you created
- Bookings, appointments, classes, services and products
- Invoices and payment records, except those we must keep by law (see below)
- Uploaded media and files
- Connected channel access, tokens for WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram, SMS, Live Chat and Google Business Profile are revoked
- API keys, webhooks and integration settings
Data is removed from our live systems as soon as the deletion is confirmed. Residual copies held in encrypted backups are erased on our normal backup rotation, within 30 days.
What data is kept, and for how long
A small amount of data is retained only where we are legally required to keep it, or where it cannot identify you:
- Billing and transaction records, kept for 7 years to meet tax, accounting and audit obligations.
- Records needed to establish or defend legal claims, or to prevent fraud and abuse: kept only for as long as that purpose requires.
- Aggregated and anonymised statistics, retained indefinitely. This data cannot be linked back to you or your business.
This mirrors our Privacy Policy, which states that we retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and that we delete or anonymise data unless retention is legally required.
If you are a member of someone else’s workspace
Deleting your account removes your personal account and any workspaces you own. Workspaces owned by another person or business are not deleted. Their owner controls that data. Your membership and personal details are removed from those workspaces.
Messages already delivered
Messages you have already sent to customers over WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Telegram or SMS exist on those platforms and on your customers’ devices. Deleting your DMly account cannot recall or delete them. Those messages are governed by each platform’s own privacy policy.
